Atlantis - Spacious Coastal Home in Port Hughes

Nice place for a big group to stay Positive: It is a lovely modern home in a nice location about 10 min walk to the jetty. Well equipped kitchen Negative: We expected linen to be included, because towels are listed in the amenities. Found out at last minute and decided to bring our own. Other issues that we had to work out ourselves because communication was not good were: We could not get free to air channels, we wanted to watch the World Cup on SBS. There was an antenna problem which we partly resolved. Still no SBS. One evening, the hot water went off? There were no paper towels or tea towels for the kitchen? All the minor issues add up to being annoying. Not offering linen at $358 a night was unfair.

Positive: The house was very well set up. Negative: The communication with the booking agent was very poor. Computer generated replies and notifications with information asked for hard to receive. Also being told of the extra cost of providing bed linen and making of beds only one week out was upsetting. We declined linen at that stage but there was linen when we arrived we did not use as we had brought our own.

Positive: Great place and location Negative: Having to book linen seperately

Positive: The location of the property although there was a bit of early morning noise from the caravan park immediately behind. Negative: All 4 remotes for security windows were flat, which we didn't know intol going to bed after a long day, so i woke up at 530 am in a bright sunfillee room. There was no paper towel, no dishwashing cloths and when we put all the dishes in the dishwasher, we woke up to find water in the bottom but the dishes had not been cleaned. We rushed out to buy these before we left sunday so the house was clean. I had requested a late check out which was not responded to after I replied to having an earlier check in or late check out. Then as the booking came closer I again requested the late check out only to be told it wouldn't be available. Its little things like these that spoilt the experience of the home for me and this is my 6th holiday stay at port hughes/ moonta

Best equipped holiday home we have stayed at. The weather wasn’t the best but dvds and a table tennis table kept us entertained. The Tavern, beach and jetty all handy when there was a break in the rain.
