Driftwood Beach House - Coastal Haven North Beach

Clean tidy house has almost everything you need and it’s lovely and quiet. The stars look amazing from the deck. Positive: It had most things you have at home

Great family accommodation Positive: Location was great, located in a gated community which meant it was quiet. The house was big! Perfect for families 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets great when sharing with others Kids room had a TV which was a favourite with them Negative: Having to supply our own sheets, towels, tea towels, there is an option of hire but felt the price of this was a little expensive. No hand rails on any of the stairs

Nice house and plenty of room for people to share a holiday together. Positive: Great size rooms and a comfortable stay. Negative: Bed was too hard it would be good to replace them with something more comfortable. Would have liked waterproof pillow protectors. TV was difficult to work out how to use it. Would be good to have the name of property on the wifi list and then guests can just put password in. Luckily my husband worked it out otherwise i would have been cranky. I’m not too good with technology. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Would be great in the warmer weather and to have 2 or 3 lots to share as there is plenty of rooms. Would stay and recommend to friends. Thank you very much.

Positive: The house was beautiful and within a small little gated community, close to the beach. The walk along the beach to Wallaroo was beautiful. The heating was great, kept the whole house warm on those cold nights. Negative: The beds/mattresses were quite uncomfortable. The bedroom 4 (white metal frame) wasn't stable enough to be slept on, with the slats continuing to fall out. For fear of this breaking, the kids rooms were attempted but the mattresses were very uncomfortable, leaving guests having to sleep on the couch. I think the cookwear could do with an update as the pans couldn't be used without sticking or burning.

Other than a few thing overall was a great place and I’d definitely stay there again Positive: Beautiful place Negative: We filled up on bath about 5cm deep before running out of hot water and not being able to have hot water until about 6pm that night. Cleaner obviously doesn’t look under cushions as there was a lot of dirt and dirty cotton buds and tissues under them on couches
